Repair & Overhaul
Most overhauls can be completed within 3 to 5 business days. We stock overhaul kits for all Onboard Systems cargo hooks, and can order in other brand kits within days when required.

AFC regularly performs repairs to a variety of brands of cargo hooks, including corrosion, excessive load related wear, faulty electrical components and general wear and tear.

Inspection &
Testing
AFC has a load cell capable of measuring up to 17 ton which is significantly greater than what's required.
Our ability to perform in-house testing allows us to have full control of the process as well as keeping lead times to a minimum.
Certification
AFC is both CASA Part 145 and DASA Part 145 approved, allowing us to release your cargo hook back to service following inspection, testing or overhaul, assuming the hook is deemed serviceable.

Both CASA and DASA have their own respective Authorised Release Certificate, known as a Form 1. AFC has the approval to issue either one of these.

Additionally, AFC is certified to the highest aerospace specific quality standard, AS9110.
